Cabwaylingo Appalachian Mission exists to feed the hungry, uplift the weary, and serve with love in Dunlow, West Virginia, and the surrounding Appalachian communities. Rooted in faith and guided by compassion, we are dedicated to meeting both physical and spiritual needs—ensuring every neighbor is seen, supported, and nourished.
4th Thursday & Friday of the month (pantry runs earlier for Nov & Dec) from 11am - 4pm (Thursdays) and 10am - 2pm (Fridays). Includes a variety of fresh and frozen foods, cosmetics, small appliances, drinks, and furniture. Upcoming Dates Here!
Recreational activities, sports, games, crafts, food, and time with friends for local school kids (in the Community Center on Tuesdays during the school year from 3:30 – 7:30pm).
Each weekend during the school year we send 110 bags to students at 2 local elementary schools.
Every year, we host over 500 mission workers from all over the country to make homes in the community “Warm, Safe, and Dry.” We also build and dedicate at least one new home each year.
Each Christmas we provide presents to over 380 kids and 500 seniors. Many presents come from across the country.
Each summer we host two high school graduates from across the country to spend 6 weeks with us to learn and to help with all our missions. Students are granted a small scholarship for their services. Learn More!
At Cabwaylingo Appalachian Mission, every can, box, and bag makes a difference. We gladly accept all non-perishable food items to help feed families in need throughout Dunlow.

Monetary donations are also welcome and go directly toward supporting local families through food, outreach, and care programs.
